Finding My Fave Coffee Shop In Raleigh, NC
When it comes to coffee shops I can be a bit particular. I have a set of prerequisites I like for them to meet which include: comfortable room to sit, an oat milk vanilla that is not too sweet and frothed well, a nice relaxing vibe, and good wifi.
I visit coffee shops for two different reasons. 1. to get some work done and 2. to just have a nice time. In the following, I will note the ones I would frequent for work or just to hang out.
I am still visiting as many as I can, so this list is ever changing. Right now my number one is tied and I just couldn't decide which I liked more….
Black and White Coffee Roasters
Located: Downtown Raleigh
327 W Davie St Raleigh, NC 27601
Black and White Coffee Roasters is located in downtown Raleigh inside the Videri Chocolate Factory (another favorite of mine). Black and White was founded by US Barista champions and strive for the highest quality possible. They roast their own beans with a wide variety of flavors. If you’re a drip coffee drinker, this is the place for you. Black and White is the perfect stop if you’re the person who wants to know more about the processes of coffee. Not to mention, the fact that they are located in a chocolate factory opens up some amazing chocolate collaborations.
Some of the things featured on their menu are: wide variety of drip coffee, sipping chocolate, frozen hot chocolate, and more.
My go-to drink is a hot vanilla latte with oat milk but on a hot day I’ll take it iced. Their iced vanilla latte may be one of the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy and not overly sweet.
Rating: 9/10
The only reason it doesn’t have a 10/10 is the inside is fairly small so the likeliness I could work from here is limited.
